Well, I think everyone’s getting a little too flowery around here. Spring has arrived, and with it, lots of floaty, dreamy, folky pop. I love this time of year, and that type of music, but for a moment, I think we all need to be reminded of how to get down.

Well I think it’s safe to say that this blog has been launched, and launched hard. Last night was an overwhelming success. We raised $1,050 for MDA, which is $250 over our goal! That is more than enough to send a child to MDA summer camp!

Well, it’s been a little slow around here thanks to the Ice-pocalypse: 2010. It is a widely known fact that the Tulsan does not function well in ice and snow. However, more than 2 days cooped up in the house makes us hungry for action! This coming weekend will cure your cabin fever.

Well, I think my favorite part of Saturday night was La Panther Happens’ cover of ”Why Don’t We Do it in the Road?” Surprising choice in covers, but it made sense and really worked!
Lizard Police was crunchy, raw, energetic rock. I want to stave off the word screamo, but I dont think it’s far off….
